All of our programs include time with the horses. The horse portion of our programs stresses safety first and focuses on building trust, leadership, and confidence. This time may include learning how to groom, feed, lead, and ride the horses. Other activities include learning horse anatomy, constructing obstacle courses, decorating the horses for nursing home parades, and observing herd behavior. Due to time constraints, not all programs include all of the activities listed above.

Reinbows Reads- Spring
Available for 4th-8th grade students who would like assistance with homework & reading. Points earned during the program can be used at Reinbows’ Barn!
Grades 4th-8th: February 9th- May 13th. 3:30 – 5:00pm, Mondays and Wednesdays
Girls/Boys Groups- This program is designed to help individuals build confidence, foster positive behaviors, and develop social skills.
Cost: $250.00. (Scholarships available)
Life-Skills & Horses –This class teaches kids how to succeed and feel good about themselves. Led by a qualified licensed counselor, topics include; Confidence Building, Social/Friendship Skills, Confidence Building, and Healthy Boundaries. The horses compliment the program by teaching; Safety, Trust, Confidence, and Leadership Skills. This class is full of hands-on activities such as; Craft Projects, Gardening, and Baking that kids can apply now and for the rest of their lives. Cost: $200.00. (Scholarships available)
Ages 8-11: June 1st-June 24th, 4 weeks – Mondays & Tuesdays, 10:00am-12:00pm
Ages 12-15: June 3rd-June 26th, 4 weeks – Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10:00am-12:00pm
Summer Horse Camps – Offered to kids’ ages 8-12 years old. Anyone who loves horses, wants to ride and have fun should attend! Cost: $250.00.
Horse Camp 1: June 29th – July 3rd, Mon.-Fri., 9:00am-1:00pm
Horse Camp 2: July 6th- July 10th, Mon.-Fri., 9:00am-1:00pm
Advanced Horse Camp: July 13th-July 17th, Mon.-Fri., 9:00am-1:00pm
This group will include crafts, horse time, and fun opportunities to “pay it forward” (help yourself by helping others). Time & Date: TBA
Reinbows Reads- Fall
Available for 4th-8th grade students who would like assistance with homework & reading. Points earned during the program can be used at Reinbows’ Barn! Kids meet at Reinbows after school from 3:30 – 5:00pm, Mondays and Wednesdays. Class space limited, must be registered to attend.
Reinbows also offers seminars for large groups of children from area schools. Topics include bullying, healthy living, and self-esteem. Please contact us for availability and scheduling.
“Bully Proof” & Self-Esteem Seminars
In these community seminars our horses will teach families how to handle issues such as bullying, anger management, healthy choices, self-esteem and conflict resolution. Time & Dates: TBA
Women, Health & Horses
Led by Dr. Mary Olson, this one day seminar will cover topics on how to live a healthy lifestyle. Time & Date TBA.
